Welcome! This blog explores the uses of technology based projects in the classroom.   • 1. Google Docs - Google Docs is a way to share documents. Perfect if you hate emailing the same document back and forth to several people. This tool allows your documents to stay in one place and remain editable by anyone you choose. All that’s needed is internet access.
  • 2. Kompozer - Creating you own web page could be very useful. Click on this page to se an example/instructions on how to create a web page.
  • 3. Critical Literacy WebQuest – This is a lesson plan created to help prepare students for technology use. It gives them an introduction and some do’s and don’ts to follow as well as a lesson in critical information literacy.
  • 4. Project Compare – On this page is a link to some examples of telecollaborative projects I have reviewed. If you like what you see but don’t know where to start, this could be the place for you.
  • 5. Podcast – This page will show you some uses for podcasting in your class room. Examples are on the Home page (this page).
  • 6. Blog - This item will elaborate on two blogging tools and their strengths and weaknesses.
